Doug KawakamiDoug Kawakami
President, Jordan Publishing, Inc.
Partner, Landmark Jordan, LLC

Mr. Kawakami has over 25 years of business management experience in a diverse mix of corporate structures. The common denominator throughout his experience has been direct involvement in building and managing sales organizations

Prior to establishing Jordan Publishing in 2000, Mr. Kawakami began his publishing career in the early 90’s with Marcoa Publishing the largest third party publishing firm in the country where he oversaw projects throughout the southwest region of the United States and reported directly to senior management. During the mid 90’s Mr. Kawakami helped form Integrity Publishing, Inc. During his time there he was instrumental in pioneering new product lines such as Design Resources and the Exclusively Series working as the Vice President of Sales to grow the company into a national organization.

As a partner in Landmark Jordan, and a member of the Landmark executive team Mr. Kawakami will lend his expertise in expanding the Exclusively publication and with his extensive background play a role in the sales and organizational development areas.

Mr. Kawakami graduated from the University of Oregon, holds an M.B.A from Mount Saint Mary’s University and an M.A. from the College of Notre Dame where he teaches as an Associate Professor of Business.

 


April O'BrienApril O’Brien
Vice President

April O’Brien is a proven leader with experience in advertising, sales, marketing, and product development and, with her current position, managing the details of a growing marketing and publishing firm. She joined Landmarks as a field representative in 2002 and was quickly promoted to Marketing Director. As the company grew, she was promoted to Vice President in 2005 and has overseen the operations and production of Landmarks grow from 9 publications and videos to 18 plus the addition of various hotel marketing cards and a revamped Internet site. April continues to work with the highly motivated and creative team members to produce the quality work for which Landmarks is known.

Prior to joining Landmarks, she served as Marketing Director for Cox Interactive Media, Hampton Roads; Marketing Manager for Nauticus, the National Maritime Center; Promotion Director for Virginia Beach Events Unlimited; Promotion Manager for WGNT TV; and Advertising Representative for The Virginian Pilot. April received a B.A. in Communication Arts from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

 

 

Gary OseroffGary Oseroff
Regional Sales Director, North

With over 20 years experience in sales and business management, Gary’s concentration has been in developing and managing sales teams and developing revenue growth strategies using marketing and analytical methods. As Director of Sales with Landmark Marketing, Inc., Gary has developed new sales teams in the Northern Markets that have added growth in core products as well as developing new strategies to both existing and future products.

Gary joined Landmarks Marketing, Inc. in June of 2007 focused on increasing markets in Pennsylvania and Delaware and opening new markets in Maryland. With his hands-on management style, Landmarks has been able to hire and train new Project Managers to continue the work, acting as independent systems within the organization.

Mr. Oseroff’s 20 plus years of sales management experience includes, developing training programs, analytical systems, personality compatibility profiles and growth strategies in multiple fields of products. Gary started in the Home Building Industry, helping three homebuilders to grow to the tops in their markets, had his own Independent Sales Organization in the credit card processing and atm placements industry, and developed and marketed a firm specializing in patent processes in the smart card technology industry. Most recently Gary researched and developed an intranet based concierge service for casinos in Las Vegas. This handheld system was developed as a strategy to assist the hospitality industry in an on demand ability to tend to their customers needs.

Sandy PhillipsSandy Phillips
Senior Territory Manager

Ms. Phillips joined the Landmarks team in 2005, and is Territory Manager of the Delmarva Territory. Sandy has overseen the rapid growth of the Maryland & Delaware beach markets, tripling revenue in those markets over a two year period. Because of her relationship- building sales and executive skills those markets are maintaining revenues on core products that she has grown to record levels. Most recently she has pioneered the company’s first Exclusively publication, once again adding revenue to the territory. Sandy will be assisting in the start up of other markets in the Exclusively series throughout the Mid Atlantic.

Sandy is a lifelong resident of the Maryland’s Eastern Shore. After attending the University of Delaware and beginning a career in Equine Health, Sandy soon discovered the opportunities and advantages of print marketing. She found that sharing her knowledge with business owners was very rewarding as she saw businesses begin to grow. After beginning with a National Magazine, The Holistic Horse in 2001, she joined the Landmark Marketing Group in 2005 and has developed the largest territory in the company earning the salesperson of the Year designation for the past 2 years. Her experience in local print, national print, internet and outdoor media, positions her well to be an integral part of Landmarks future growth.
